HP HAS FORGOTTEN ABOUT THE 9830
I wrote to HP in August of 2002 regarding a service manual for the 9830:
Hello, I was unable to locate a more general support page, so I apologize if this ends up on the wrong desk. I hope it will be forwarded to the correct person. I am looking for a service manual for a very old desktop calculator, model 9830. It was produced in the 1970s and I have been unable to locate any archives on the hp website. Even the www.tmo.hp.com appears to be gone. Thank you for your time. Dan

I received the following response:

Hello,

Thank you for contacting the new HP.

We are unaware of a 9830 calculator. All information on our discontinued models is available at www.hpmuseum.com - a third party website.
